Michael Steden is my name and I practice photography as a hobby since I was eighteen. I was born in 1951 in the town of Bochum Germany, in the heart of the Ruhr District, and live there until today. My preferred motives come from the nature. Those ones are animals, insects, flowers, plants, landscapes and seasonal atmospheres.
Everything began with an Olympus OM10 over a Nikon F90 in the analogous photography. On many journeys into the world from the Pacific up to Antarctica thousands of photos were taken. In 2001 I started digital photography. The start was with a Nikon D50 and after that with a Nikon D200. Since December 2007 I am a proud owner of a Nikon D300.
These pictures here are the result of my Digital photography since the 2006. At the moment I have still approx. 3200 pictures which wait to be processed, catalogued and published. That means, this home page is not ready yet and new photos will be added constantly.
For inquiries or comments I would be very pleased. And I hope, you like my photos and have some fun to be here. Photography is a wonderful and creative hobby. We can see how beautiful this earth is. We should do everything to protect this world and the beauty of nature. This should be the target for all of us.
